Birthday planning · Entertainment packages
Build a birthday entertainment package that fits your party
The right combination depends on the age of your guests, your venue and the hours you need covered. Here are three starting points you can adapt rather than buy as a fixed bundle.

Decide what the party needs first
Write down the guest age mix, venue size, arrival time, food, speeches or cake, and finish time. Choose one main attraction, then add something that fills a different moment. For a shorter party, one strong act may work better than two performers competing for the same hour.
Three birthday package ideas
Children's party: one main act, room for cake
A magician or children's entertainer for a defined show and games, with time left for food and cake. If you add a face painter, check whether they work during the show or afterwards.
Check: Ask about the age range, guest numbers, space needed and who supplies any props or music.
Find magicians18th or 21st: dancing plus a keepsake
A DJ for the main party, with a photo booth for part of the evening. A sax player can join for a planned set if the DJ and musician agree on the music and timing.
Check: Confirm whether lights, a microphone, booth prints or a digital gallery are included, and check your venue's finish time.
Find DJs30th to 60th: conversation first, dancefloor later
An acoustic act during arrivals or dinner, followed by a band or DJ after the speeches. If guests do not want to dance, consider a roaming magician instead of a second music act.
Check: Ask when each performer sets up and whether anyone covers the handover between dinner and dancing.

Two DJ offers may cover different hours or equipment. Two photo booth offers may differ on prints, attendants and gallery access. Ask each entertainer to spell out arrival and setup, performance time, breaks, travel, equipment, overtime, deposit and cancellation terms. A tailored quote is sensible if your venue needs an early setup or more than one room.
On Veya, performers choose their own service packages and descriptions. Browse those actual offers rather than assuming the examples above are fixed Veya prices or pre-booked bundles. When hiring more than one act, an event bundle lets you send multiple requests; each entertainer accepts and is paid separately.
A simple running order
- Allow time for the supplier to set up before guests arrive.
- Place any show or live music where people can focus on it, rather than over food or speeches.
- Leave a clear window for cake and photos before the final dance set.
- Tell all acts who their contact is on the day and when the venue closes.
